Transparent

So it's back to school kiddos - one down and only 10 MORE WEEKS TO GO *crey*! As usual first week back was boring and throughout the five days of learning - supposedly, I caught up on some maths and all my other subjects ready to take on Semester 2 :D!

Anyway, on Saturday Vera held her 15th Birthday-dinner at Little Singapore. The group met up around 5:30pm and walked across to our venue as Vera booked reservations at 6:00! Boy, were we shocked to find out that one of the waiters *accidently* mixed the booking Vera made to be on a Monday...but luckily, seeing as we were a huge group the manager managed to arrange some tables for us so YAY!

After we devoured our 12 dishes com-plete-ly, the group decided we ought to lose some calories by Karaoke-ing! We walked over to Queens and realised the lady tried to RIP US OFF by saying that 13 people in a room = $75 but we had 16 or so so they needed to extra charge another $15. I mean, seriously? SERIOUSLY..$90 for a room with two mics - and only an hour. T_T I don't think so. We argued for a bit, but seeing as we were such a big group we decided to let her win. I have to say though, the battle ain't over buddy/snaps fingers.

And yes, funnily our first starting song was 'Call me maybe' which got everyone jumping up and down and lost in the moment. Mindy was on fire all night baby! The highlight of my night was probably controlling the 'speed' of how fast the song went..OH MY GOD. TRY IT GUYS, TRY IT WITH 'MY HUMPS' AHAHAHAH k. Oh and of course, we camwhored with my baby and managed to take a few polaroids too. Our night ended around 8:45pm where everyone gave Vera birthday hugs/wishes and went their separate ways home.

coolest kidz owwwwht!

Last but not least, Happy Birthday Vera! I hope you enjoed the day as much as I did (spent with me) and now you can go on MA15+ movies dates with me..YAY :D. XOXO, teef.

Thriller

So like for the first time ever living the life in Australia, I finally got the chance to go to Dream world yesterday!! And boy, this has to be the highlight of my entire holidays! Luckily, we chose the right day to go (weekday) as I was work-free and we managed to get our money back by going on at least ten rides! Teef is happy.

The line
Amazing weather :')

In the morning the group met up at Altandi at 8:30 and trained to Dreamworld, arriving around 10. We originally planned to stop at Koomera to pre-buy tickets, but unfortunately the online server was down...and thus we ended up lining up and buying tickets at the gate anyway ):

Thanks to Kenten for making the brownies!! *o*

Though as if time flew past, by the time I realised we were already in front of the counter using my 20% coupon ready to buy the tickets :D *forever love coupons* heh. Then, like crazy kids we ran over to the Claw immediately to line up. It took me by surprise that the line was actually short..it took us around 20 minutes until it was our turn - so far so good ya know? AND OH MY GOD, IT WAS GOOD, seeing as I've only been to Sea-world and Movie-world where all the baby rides were..THIS WAS AWESOME. I MEAN AWWWWWWWWE-SOME. :D After all the screaming, we headed over to the Wipe-out and again the line was shorter than expected. I mean, THIS HAS TO BE OUR LUCKY DAY :D.

OOTD!
After the second ride we went over to the Cyclone, and to be honest it wasn't fun at all so SKIP. We decided to have lunch around 12 and as expected the menu was ridiculously over-priced. Even so, it was a nice break to catch a breath and ready for Round 2.

Next we headed over to Tower of Terror - terrible news was that there was a break down in the system and as we were scared that it would take a while to fix, we gave up and ran over to the Giant Drop like a bunch of maniacs. Again, the line was amazingly short and we only spent 20 or so minutes lining up !! The funny story was how the man told us to 'admire the view' but all we saw at the top was a great big gigantic forest T_T I was like er...wrong side maybe?! AHAH (it doesn't sound funny but it was okay) Also kenten started counting at the top because appearntly it took about 40 seconds before dropping and...when he reached 40 it didn't drop T_T we were all ready to scream and everything but yeah (be there moment). Okay I'll just quit the story because it doesn't even sound funny k *creys*.

FINALLY, the thriller ride-of-the-day was definitely the BUZZZZZ SAWWWW. Seriously guys, if you come to Dream world and not happen to go on this ride, your missing out big time buddy. It's like this ride that has a 360 degrees loop and at the start it SLOWLY makes its way up then quickly goes around a semi-loop and makes it way down!! OMG, the scary bit I reckon is at the end how it stops right at the 180 degree angle and makes it feels like you're going to fall...SOO GOOD. (sorry for the bad description) GO ON IT K.

Our day ended around 5 where we JUST missed the bus..and watched it drive away )': We then had dinner at Maru and I got home around 9! Now I shall leave you guys with some photos of my amazing day XOXO teef

GROUP SHOT!

It's my time to shine

WHAT IS UP WITH THIS WEATHER? It has been cold and hot cold and hot..and now it's so freaking cold T_T. So one week down and only one more week of holidays left to go! ): I am so not keen on starting school; what's worse, I have assignments to cram in. Life is so great at the moment...Not.

Anyway, so after like forever I caught up with jenny and courtney last Thursday! I first met up with Jenny in the morning as we were planning on having brunch at Pancake but that troll was craving for Grill'd and seeing as I am SUCH A GREAT FRIEND/ wipes tears we ended up going to Grill'd. It was my first time dining in at the Winter Gardens and it's such a clean and quiet place! (classy too)! After our 'brunch' we went to ZOOM for sticker photos *kawaii-ness overload* Then we went over to South bank to watch That's my Boy' seeing as so many people have recommended it. I am sad to say, overall, I didn't enjoy the movie. Probably because, it's the type of movie with the lame repetitive jokes..:\ But jenny seemed to be entertained..so it was kinda hard for me to not to laugh..hmmm. After the movie, we both got super lazy and since it was a gloomy weather day, we decided that we'll bus home !

ps. I am sorry to say about the shit quality photos on my phone...I HAD TO CARRY TWO CAMERAS AROUND BUT MANAGED TO FORGET MY MEMORY CARD *crey*

forever love this girl

Around 4, I met up with Courtney and managed to scare her from behind <3 Forever love you baby :D. We walked over to Sakuraya because we both wanted a drink for the movie, then we watched Brave at sunnybank after I checked my next shift at work! I have to say, this movie was sort of a let down for me as well (it was not as good as expected) but overall, it was still a cute movie - very disney like with the happy endings ! After the movie, we caught up, talked and camwhored then chilled with Adrian before my parents came over for dinner! Tis' was a great day!

(don't kill me)

On Saturday, we had a family friends reunion dinner and despite the cold weather, the night was filled with laughter!! It scares me how it's been 2 and almost 3 years already; I've missed you so much Rita Auntie ! The parents are seriously so cute gossiping, greg and I were laughing non-stop to the way they all talked! Our night ended around 11 and I'll just leave you guys with photos! Hopefully i'll have something to blog about tomorrow :)! XOXO, TEEF
