*inserts hearts everywhere* I LOVE MAYDAY!!

Anyway, so as I recall (bad memory) last weekend my brother and I planned our first ever plane trip without neither of our parents down to Sydney! The whole trip was planned around Mayday's concert and we ended up staying overnight. But..let's just say seeing as it was our first time? We screwed up pretty badly in the beginning. T_T

*CRAVVVINGS*

Waiting for our flight/being cheeky and taking pictures when you're not suppose to

It turns our that we MISSED our 6:00a.m flight. But seriously, I BLAME the airline. Yes, I am sending out a warning here to anyone who EVER travels on the 'Tiger Airline' that really, Cheap airfare = Shit service. To start off, we missed the flight because we COULD'NT see where the check-in service desks were. Like seriously? If you see other airlines they have CLEARLY marked where they are and even have PEOPLE standing in front of their area just so PEOPLE can see CLEARLY of where you're suppose to be checking in. And to me - and I believe along with the many others who had also missed the same flight did not even RECOGNISE the 'Tiger Airline' sign- was there even one? Ha.Ha. I mean who the hell would notice and Airline behind another airline....On top of that, we HAD to pay an extra of $170 to be PUSHED over to the next flight...wouldn't that miss the whole point of being a 'CHEAP' airline..seeing as we actually paid the same price for other BETTER airlines? SIGHHH/major rant over.

Heels.

So yes, fate was not on our side since the start of the morning, but I have to admit - it did get better along the way. After we arrived at Sydney our hotel was within walking distance from the airport so Greg and I thought we'd do some exercise before pigging out and walk all the way to Stamdfords! I have to say though, wearing 7cm heels + walking? Not a very good combination. We were already exhausted by the time we got to the airport it was already TWO O'CLOCK in the afternoon - mind you, we haven't ate anything yet since TIGER pushed our flight to TWELVE (plane trip took around 1.5 hrs)...we were craving of food. After unpacking all our things we caught a cab and began exploring the city. Basically our whole plan got thrown out the window and we just did whatever we felt like along the way.

Foodfoodfood

Actually, we couldn't do anything right.We had less than 4 hours before the concert started we became paranoid of not being on time* after the terrible experience with the plane..all I remember doing was eating. T_T

City: Day/Night

@China Town: Morning Glory!

Seeing as the concert started at eight and we had to be there around seven, we caught the monorail over to China Town where the concert was held at Sydney Entertainment Centre! While we were waiting to go in we roamed around the streets where we found a special gelate/milkshake shop where they make it all with Dry Ice and Nitrogen! It was really cool cause they made it fresh and you could see smokes and everything bubbling!! The flavours were delicious and the boss there really nice, so make sure you drop by if you ever go!! :)

Then around eight the concert started and OH MY GOODNESS IT WAS THE BEST. Words cannot explain how good the concert was! I fill as if I fell in love with the band all over again. hehe -fangirl moment- Definitely a highlight of 2012! Now it's saving up time !! Hopefully I'll have another trip near the end of this year! XOXO, TEEF
